Usually, on the computer you and get much better deals on message tones. Some sites are actually completely free and others charge a small one time fee. Message tones available for download on the web can really vary in quality. Some sites will have fantastic tones while others will sound awful. I always suggest trying to find some reviews or doing a basic search for them. Lately the websites have made it easier to download the message tones by sending them directly to your phone with a "media message." It's not like it used to be where you would have to buy a special cable to download the tones onto your phone. Not only where the download cables expensive but you would obviuously need to buy a brand new cable with every phone, very annoying!

You want ot make sure that they don't download onto your computer and will go directly to your phone. That's at least how I like to do it because it ends up being much less of a hassle.
